As the aspiring Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kisa North Ward, I was privileged to launch a pit latrine project at Emulunya Primary School on Friday, 23 Jan 2026.
The project was fully funded by two well-wishers currently based in the United States of America; Mr. Malaki Ogila and Mr. Harringtone Gad Munywele as part of their service to the community and support for their alma mater.
The launch was attended by the school head teacher

and members of the local community. During the event, both the head teacher and community members applauded the two renowned philanthropists for their commendable support to the school and for ensuring that learners have access to clean and safe sanitation facilities.
I also thank the two individuals for the job well-done

To Note
As an aspiring Member of the County Assembly for Kisa North Ward, I intend to engage the leadership, management, and the wider community of Emulunya Primary School in order to initiate the construction of a pit latrine for the pupils.
Over time, I have observed that the school lacks adequate sanitation facilities, a situation that poses serious risks to the health, safety, and overall well-being of the learners.
Proper sanitation is essential in preventing the spread of diseases, promoting hygiene, and ensuring a clean and safe learning environment.
Access to latrines also safeguards the dignity of pupils, particularly young learners, and encourages regular school attendance and concentration in class.
Through my leadership, this project aims to improve learning conditions and demonstrate a strong commitment to the welfare of our children. The ground-breaking for the construction of the pit latrine is expected to begin mid this year.
The project will be fully funded by myself as part of my dedication to supporting education, public health, and community development at Emulunya Primary School within Kisa North Ward.
